These terms apply to purchases made directly through ollinewsroom.com.

2. Product and requirements

OlliNewsroom Pro is a downloadable WordPress plugin. Its features, system requirements, price and license conditions are described on the product page at the time of purchase.

You need a compatible WordPress installation, suitable hosting that permits plugin installation, and administrator access. Hosting, website administration and installation services are not included unless expressly agreed.

AI features are optional and require your own OpenAI API account and key. OpenAI usage charges are separate and are not included in the purchase price.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are charged in euros. Applicable VAT and the final amount payable are displayed before you confirm your order.

Payment is processed through the payment methods offered at checkout. License issuance and download access follow confirmation of successful payment.

The current product is a one-time purchase. There are no automatic renewal charges.

4. Delivery and customer account

The product is delivered electronically. After successful payment, the plugin download and license details are made available through your customer account.

An order confirmation is sent to the email address supplied during checkout. Please provide accurate details and keep your account credentials secure.

If payment succeeds but the download or license is unavailable, contact us with your order number. Do not send payment card details or account passwords.

5. License duration and activation

Unless the product page states otherwise, a purchase includes one OlliNewsroom Pro activation for one WordPress website, valid for 365 days from confirmed payment.

Activation requires a connection to the Ollicom license server. The plugin periodically checks the license status and expiry.

You can release an existing website activation through My Account → My Licenses before activating another website. Separate installations may require separate activations.

After expiry, license-dependent Pro features become unavailable. Existing newsroom content and settings are retained. Purchasing again currently provides a new license key; renewal is not automatic.

Activation limits apply to the commercial Pro entitlement and license services. They do not restrict rights granted by the software’s applicable open-source license.

6. Updates and support

During the active license period, available Pro updates can be downloaded through your customer account. The current release uses manual WordPress updates.

Support covers the supplied plugin’s installation, configuration, licensing and reproducible defects. Custom development, website management and modifications to third-party products are not included unless agreed separately.

Keep a current website backup before installation or updates. We cannot guarantee compatibility with every theme, plugin or hosting configuration.

Nothing in this section limits legally required updates or your statutory rights concerning product conformity.

7. Consumer withdrawal and refunds

Consumers may withdraw from their purchase within 14 days after the contract is concluded, without giving a reason. Under this policy, downloading or activating the plugin does not by itself remove that right.

To withdraw, send a clear statement to [email protected] or through our contact page before the withdrawal period expires. Include your name and order number. You may use the optional withdrawal form below, but this is not required.

We will reimburse payments covered by the withdrawal without undue delay and within 14 days after receiving your notice, using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed without additional charges.

Following withdrawal and reimbursement, the commercial Pro entitlement, activation and download access associated with the refunded order are ended. This does not affect rights independently granted under the applicable open-source license.

The statutory consumer withdrawal right does not generally apply to purchases made in a business or professional capacity. Statutory remedies for defective or non-conforming products remain unaffected.

8. Product conformity and technical problems

Consumers retain the applicable legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and digital services.

If the product does not function as described, contact us with your order number, plugin version and a description of the problem. We will investigate and provide the remedies required by applicable law, including correction, a price reduction or reimbursement where applicable.

Expiry of the commercial license does not remove statutory rights relating to the original purchase.

9. External content and services

You are responsible for choosing your feeds, obtaining any necessary permissions to republish source content, and reviewing material before publication.

Third-party feeds, websites and AI services can change or become unavailable. AI-generated material may contain errors and requires human review.

These responsibilities do not exclude Ollicom’s obligations concerning the functionality and conformity of the supplied product.

10. Privacy

Account, order and license information is processed to fulfil purchases, manage activations, provide support and meet legal obligations.

License checks transmit information needed to verify the entitlement, including the license key, website URL and installation identifier.

11. Liability and applicable law

Liability is determined by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restrict mandatory consumer rights.

Belgian law applies. Consumers retain mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in the competent courts provided by applicable law.

The version of these terms accepted when ordering applies to that purchase. Later changes do not retrospectively reduce rights under an existing order.
